Frustrated with weed growing cracks?
We only use Hot-Applied Elastomeric Compound.We found this rubber compound best for Western Canada's colder climates. This product is elastic, remains flexible at -40° and won't break or crack. This sealant is ready for traffic within minutes and will not track, pick up or bleed. Although specialized equipment and techniques are required for applying the sealant it is extremely cost effective since it will outperform every other system by years. Patching is a great temporary solution?
Excavate, Remove and Replace This rehabilitation patching method is used for areas with severely damaged pavement that needs to be removed before the pavement can be properly repaired. At Local asphalt, we cut at least one foot beyond the deteriorated and broken asphalt to ensure that all the weakened asphalt is removed after which we restabilize the base.

Pavement Management Planning
A good asphalt pavement seldom wears out; external factors destroy the asphalt oil that binds it all together. Slowly at first, quickly as time goes on. As soon as the freshly laid hot asphalt pavement mix begins to cool, so also begins the aging process which will eventually rob the pavement of its life.

Troubled Project Turnaround
Probably the least understood of all maintenance options, an overlay can be your best friend if it done in time. An overlay, as its name implies, is simply a new pavement placed over top of an existing pavement section, often with a paving fabric interlayer.
